Website Templates & Custom Builds

These terms govern our services — whether you choose a ready-made template or a custom Payload CMS website.

1. Service Agreement

By using our services, you agree to these terms. We offer:

  • Ready-made website templates for quick launch
  • Custom Payload CMS websites built to your requirements
  • Template customization (colors, typography, layouts)
  • Deployment, hosting setup, and technical optimization
  • Post-launch support as agreed upon

2. Project Process

Our Standard Process

  1. Browse: You browse templates or describe your project
  2. Customize: We customize your template or plan a custom build
  3. Build: We build, you review and give feedback
  4. Launch: Final adjustments and go-live
  5. Review: You have 14 days to review the delivered website and report any issues. If no issues are reported within this period, the project is considered accepted

3. Client Responsibilities

For successful project completion, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your project
  • Respond to requests for feedback within agreed timeframes
  • Provide necessary content, images, and materials
  • Make timely payments according to the agreed schedule
  • Communicate changes or concerns promptly
  • Review and test the delivered website within 14 days of launch. Report any bugs or issues during this review period. If no issues are reported within 14 days, the project is automatically considered accepted
  • Purchase a domain from a registrar and point DNS records to the designated server
  • Provide your Web3Forms access key if a contact form is included (free at web3forms.com)
  • Provide your Google Analytics measurement ID if analytics integration is requested

4. Payment Terms

Templates & Fixed-Rate Work

  • Fixed price based on chosen template and scope
  • Full payment upfront before work begins
  • Clearly defined deliverables in advance

Custom Projects

  • 50% deposit to begin work
  • Remaining balance due at launch
  • Milestone-based payments for larger projects

5. Intellectual Property

Clear Ownership Rights

Upon full payment, you own your website content and customizations. Templates are licensed for use on a single project. We retain rights to our base templates and reusable components.

  • You retain all rights to your content, images, and brand materials
  • Template customizations and custom designs become your property upon payment
  • Any third-party tools or assets are subject to their respective licenses
  • We retain rights to our base templates, processes, and reusable code components
  • For static sites, you can request the source code and host independently

6. Limitations and Warranties

We strive for excellence but want to set clear expectations:

What We Guarantee:

  • Professional, standards-compliant code
  • Responsive, accessible design
  • 30-day bug fix warranty from client acceptance (acceptance occurs upon documented confirmation — email, message, or other recorded communication — or automatically 14 days after launch if no issues are reported)
  • Clear communication throughout the project

Limitations:

  • We cannot guarantee specific business outcomes
  • Third-party service availability is outside our control
  • Browser compatibility limited to current, supported versions
  • Content and SEO results depend on your ongoing efforts

7. Project Changes and Scope

We understand projects evolve. Here's how we handle changes:

  • Small tweaks within the original scope are included
  • Significant changes require written approval and may affect timeline/cost
  • New functionality beyond the original agreement is quoted separately
  • Changes may extend the project timeline

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice:

  • You pay for work completed to date
  • We provide all completed work and refund unused deposits
  • We work together to ensure a smooth transition

9. Support and Maintenance

Post-Launch Support:

Included (30 days from acceptance):

  • Bug fixes and technical issues
  • Minor content updates
  • Basic training and guidance

Additional Services:

  • Ongoing maintenance plans
  • Content updates and additions
  • Performance optimization
